Having said that LBL have refused this application we now find that the contractors are digging a trench for groundworks. CGRA asked planning to investigate which they did and found that the contractors are claiming that the works are not to do with the mast application (which is not credible given that the trench runs from a BT manhole to the exact spot where the mast is planned, and are working off drawings that were part of the planning application for the mast), but is to run cables to a single  new cabinet... The contractors are apparently asserting they didn't need planning permission for this cabinet. 
Planning is continuing to investigate this matter.

This Sunday afternoon  12-7-15 some of the residents in Arran Road got together to  weed the pavements. We hope to do more next weekend. We now have a clear stretch of pavement. If you would like to do something similar in your road get in touch with CGRA and we will see if we can put you in touch with like minded residents in your road.
